Hi my name is Bruce I am a special education teacher in Brooklyn, New York. I have been teaching for the past 24 years. ( 20 of those years in special education) I am currently teaching a special education class of 6 kindergarten and first graders. I enjoy using all kinds of technology with my students. I recently made an Imovie with my students where they acted out a " How to book" on making a sandwich. The children had a blast making it.
I am currently in my second semster at NYIT in New York City. I hope to make a change from a special education teacher to a technology teacher. I am planning this coming semester to working with many of the teachers in my school on developing their computer skills. I have a school that has a wealth of technology tools with teachers who are afraid to use these devices.My goal is to help make these teachers less reluctant in using technology in their classroom
